even 2 6" clowns are not a bio load problem on a 5gallon tank, there would be no room for
the fish, but the bio load isnt the real problemas long as its filters are made both
appropriately sized and cycled, to handle it the last part not being a major concern if
the fish are acquired small and they grow up in the tank, by that time the filter will
have cycled. as its only going to be a 20 and because the end goal seems now to be very
fixed and little room for other things like anemones and such, such a tank could be setup
with a pair of clowns with a bio wheel, a few lbs of LR and use waterchanges, or other
methods to limit nitrates. the lack of inverts will allow some nitrates such that I dont
want in my reef, but am happy with in my FO.

IMO, yes it would accommodate juveniles BUT a full grown clown can reach
4" to 6" depending on the species. So in the long term I'd say no. That's a
