Here is a great price on my favorite reef book:

Go for the hardcover. John makes learning about reef habitats and such quite
a good read by also including stories from when he was a biology student at
the University of Tennessee..... I think this is Johns best book and has
been recently updated...

Can anyone recommend a good book on reef keeping that is fairly detailed
with examples of setup? I have the Reef Aqaurium book by Sprung and
Delbeek, however it does not go to in depth about the actual setup of a
reef
aquarium. They talk about numerous methods but no real hard data of what
would work best. It is a great book but not exactly what I am looking
for.
I have visited numerous websites with great info, but nothing beats a good
book. I use to have a 180g fish only with sump. I quickly learned that
bio-balls are not the way to go. Way too many water changes to suit me.
I
have sold everything due to a move and would now like to try my hand at a
reef setup.
Thanks
