Now that I am over the shock of my vandalized tank, I have to do
something about it. Clean it out, for starters. Given that a large
amount of alcohol was poured into it, what should I do regarding the
plants and gravel in it? Will rinsing and drying take care of them? What
about the tank itself? I assume the biofilter is dead - will I have to
replace the biowheel if I ever decide to get fish again? (It is a
Penguin 125)

I am not sure what kind of alcohol the louts poured in the tank. I don't
know if this will make a difference in the cleaning procedures.

*sigh*
Maybe I'll just have a planted tank this time.
