I've now got this little wall that I've put in front of my filter which
leaves a dark area behind it. They don't seem to mind coming out and about
now that's there as they rush to hide behind that should they get alarmed.

at 7am for 3 hours then at 5pm for 4 hours. Also, I made it a habit to

them when the light came on at 7am. Now, when the light comes on, they

up to the surface and dart around waiting for the food to drop in.

Probably one has nothing to do with the other, but just my experience.
