Hmmm. I've tried turning off the skimmer before feeding, and leaving
it off for as much as 3 hourds after - same results.


I get the same thing when I feed a "home-made" mix of squid and shrimp.
strange thing is it only does this to the skimmer in one tank. but within
an hour of putting the thawed cube in this tank the skimmer will have
skimmed at least a pint of very clear liquid. none of the other tanks do
this.
