feeding, feeding

Hi all,
I feed my Oranda once per day, in the morning, and they are happy to see
me -- when I turn on the light they rush to the surface. They eat for a
good five minutes or so, then spend a big part of the day searching for
leftover tidbits they might have missed, kissing the sides of the tank for
algae, etc. I was wondering, it's probably natural for them but I wanted
to
check -- are your fish hungry little buggers, too? Also, I was feeding
them
twice per day in the very beginning, and then it seemed too much so I went
to once per day. Am I better off feeding them a smaller amount, but twice
per day?
Thanks,
Andrea
I think, because they like to eat so much, I would feed them less food, more
often.
