I call it, Attitude Adjustment. String algae is why your water is gin
clear. Rake anything out that is floating to the surface, anything under
the surface imagine it as like seaweed, floating with the current.

I went to a pond that had a 50 foot stream about 18" across and 8" deep,
the SA was waving in the current and my brain was saying, "Isn't that cool
looking?" just as I was passing the pond owner asking the President of the
club, "How do I get rid of this stuff?" President was suggesting a product
like Sludge Buster, I just said, "Algae Attitude Adjustment". Beauty is in
the eye of the beholder, I guess. ;o) ~ jan
