Default Cup Coral

So a few weeks ago I was at the LFS and noticed this pretty little cup coral
was on sale. I had never read anything about cup corals but was told their
care was pretty straight forward. Well I got it home, put it in my tank and
everything was fine. Two weeks passed and I decided to move the coral to a
place that was more visually appealing to me. This was slightly higher in
the tank and was receiving more water movement. Another week went by and
now I am noticing that the 'cup' part of the coral is swelling up on the
inside of the cup, almost enclosing many of the polyp clusters. I moved a
power head so that the area would receive less water movement but the
swelling hasn't subsided. Any ideas what is wrong? Does anyone know of a
good online site where I can get some info on this guy? Please refrain from
posting about how stupid it is to buy something you don't know how to care
for. I understand that better now. In the past I have always been able to
hold off until I could do some research. I just don't know what got into me
this time.

Thanks,
Ed
