Help!
Yeah carp over run ponds. Normally a pond with bass doesnt get over run with
any fish but carp are mud feeders. They root around in the mud and sitr it
up making the water cloudy. Bass are a sight feeding fish. They dont do well
in ponds where they can't see their prey. Thus the carp soon over populate.
The only way I've ever heard of getting rid of carp is to destory the entire
pond and all fish life with "rotenone".
Once you do that though you'll be able to restock with any fish you'd like.
It's pretty cheap too since you can restock with fingerlings.

I am enquiring on behalf of a farmer, who needs to capture or kill an
excess
of carp in his farm dam, about the name of a product that incapacitates
fish
by (I think) oxygen deprivation. I know that some such product exists but
need to know where one can obtain it. I also need to know whether fish
killed in this way are edible or not. Can you help?
