Pumps
I hope we wouldn't mutter too loudly, as information (and websites) are
always changing regarding pumps. ;o) Imo, you made a good choice, even if
you eventually go to external the submersibles will always be good for
quarantine tanks, water changes, draining, whatever.... even the next pond

there was plenty of discussion. After a lot of reading, I decided to go
with a Sequence. However, when I went online to find them, I found some low
wattage Laguna submersible pumps on special for cheap (72 watts, 1640 gph,
$89) so I got two. That will get me set up. If they don't cut it, I can
replumb for an external pump later. Right now I've got a lot of other work
to do on the pond, so avoiding the extra plumbing sounds like a good idea.
