Sounds like you will have our problem when you hope for baby koi or
goldfish: too many predatory minnows. We have done the minnow trap route
to
pull hundreds out. Will continue doing that for a while. We hope for

I think traps will be in order this year. As soon as things start getting a
bit warmer, I plan to do some cleanup, so maybe I'll dump the traps in then.
