I asked one of the seniors in high school who lives at my house and he
said,
'circle'.
Checked the answer and danged if he wasn't right! I may not be a math whiz
but
I can raise them.... (with help of engineer DH gene pool!)

The answer to the problem is not in the math, but in the understanding of
the question.
A regular polygon is a polygon that has all sides and angles the same.

4 sided regular polygon, will look like a square.
5 sided regular polygon, will look like a pentagon
6 sided regular polygon, will look like a hexagon
7 sided regular polygon, will look like a heptagon
8 sided regular polygon, will look like a octagon

By the time you get to an octagon, you can see that if the lines get smaller
and the angles between the 2 lines get wider that eventually it will look
like a circle.
