I think as with any dog, one has to realize that behind the cute puppy look
slumbers a potentially dangerous animal. So you do have to work with them,
a lot, and keep them in check. But first of all, we want her to trust us
completely, and try to educate her through reward, not punishment.
That's sometimes hard when she craps on the carpet after just having had a
long walk (yek ! :-) but in the end will be worth while IMHO.

And never seen it in the three generations
of labs my family has had in Jody, Maggie, Rosie, Heidi and Cody. From
