Default Water from air conditioner?

OK let's ask a chemist, I don't think 5 gallons in 300 is a drop.

Hi!
I would really be concerned about mentals and all that dust that filter

out.
Good luck with your bio-filter. They are great!!

It's hot and the window A/C is running constantly. I can collect a

5-gallon
bucket of water dripping from the condenser about every other day. Would
this water be safe to use to top off the pond? It's clear, clean-looking
water, but I didn't know what might be in there that you can't see or

smell.
Any thoughts on the safety of using it? Would it hurt my fish?

I will admit that I did use it once before I put much thought into it.

The
fish are fine, but wondered later about long-term.

I have a small, 60-gallon pond -- and yes, I have too many fish: one 6"
Comet and eight 2" goldfish. No filter yet, but my Fish Mate bio filter

is
supposed to be here by Friday. Yay!

Thanks,
Angie
