I've had it for 12 years with no problems. Last night I heard noises in

kitchen. I figured a critter had come in. Sure enough. Dog scared him

first came in the kitchen so he ended up on the curtain rod. Took a while
to
get him out. Doggy door gets blocked at night now. The links below show
him
in the house. The ladder was something I tried to see if he'd skedaddle
on
his own. Didn't work. Finally roped him with an old dog leash. Only took
three deputies to help. I hope the experience was sufficently traumatic
to
keep him away but I doubt it.

LOL Guess it would be a large window too, with the ladder. Ladder is little
thin thingy for Christmas elves. Good point, though. 2x4 would probably have
been better. I have had skunks around before I redid the fence when I first
moved in. One was on the back patio waving his tail with the dogs yapping at
him. Didn't spray that time before I got the dogs away. Unfortunately,
another time they got sprayed at about 2:30 am. We didn't know it until they
raced into the house and started rubbing all over the carpet. Takes about
two weeks to air that out! Also, tomato juice doesn't really work all that
well for dogs.
