You can have any background you fancy behind the tank & the back of the
tank
is cleanable & more important you can stick extra filters to the glass.
The reflectors come with the clips.
I would get at least one otherwise you will get blinded each time you open
the hood.
You can seed the filter from your pond filter to avoid a cycle.
