And, not being a Gourami keeper, anybody know the usual lifespan of a
Gourami?
Two years seem pretty short (assuming they where juveniles when
purchased)
compared to *most* fish, but I'm just guessing there.
I owned a Belontia signata - related anabantoid - for just over twenty
years. I've have pearl gouramis past eight.
I've had a pair of Moonlights for going on 4 years now, they wreak havoc on
a planted aquarium! Sometimes I wish they were'nt so hardy
Scarry. When I got my 75 gallon tank 2 years ago, I never considered
how long the fish would live. I don't know how long I will live. If
I had considered the fish would outlive me, I might have not been so
anxious to get them. Now I have 5 tanks with over 100 fish. I hope
to outlive my dogs, but now I have worry if I can outlive my fish too?
