The real question should be why are you going to battle blue/green
with Maracyn? You should look into why your tank can support
blue/green and remove the nutrients that it needs.

Actually, I did some research after my original post and concluded
that the problem was with my nitrate to phosphate ratio. I believe
that the Amquel+ I used has remove the nitrate hence making phosphate
dominant. I am going to stop using Amquel+ and use a simple
dechlorinator for a while.

My tank just finished cycling, and I am trying to build up some
nitrate concentration. Currently, it is at less than 5ppm.
