First... Ick attacks host Second... Ick breeds in tank bottom Third...
Ick swims to new host (Ick can only be killed in this stage)

1. Stress does not cause Ick... Ick is a natural occurance in fish and
is fought off regularly by the immune system. Ick can become harmful
if the Fish is stressed or it's immune system is weak.

2. High Temps will not kill ick... Ick can be killed with medication,
but only when the ick is in its "Swimming" stage. This is why the
temp is increased, to speed up the cycle. The faster you get Ick to
be at a swimming stage the sooner medication can work.
