If the fish doesnt seem bothered by that episode, ti might be ok...You could
try putting some melafix into the water to help with healing of missing
scales and scrapes and all those types of injuries...The bottle doesnt say
that you cant treat fry so I assume it would be safe o them..
what does everyone else think about this?

it's 12:15 and only ten minutes before i started writing this plea for
help
I noticed that one of the fry was caught head first in the intake of an
aquaclear 3000 powerhead I negligently left running. I quickly unplugged
the
powerhaed and to my surprise
the little one was still alive. first things first, I separated it
by taking 5 liters of its tank water and filling a marked
speciment container and housing it in there until further info becomes
available to me. next i write to the newgroup that got me started on the
right path to healthy
happy goldfish. the fish seems reletively energetic with a couple of lost
scales, and a slight warp in its overall shape. it also seems to have an
eye
injury. what now i think he will die by the time i get a response, this
bothers me. please help with any advise. it would be grately appreciated
