Thanks for the link, it confirmed most of my research on this subject.
However, there was no mention of anything relating to the question I really
had: Is regular aquarium salt (meant for freshwater fish) adequate for
creating salt water for raising these shrimp? The article you posted
mentioned using aquarium salt to create a brackish environment for the adult
shrimp, but did not say what he used for raising the fry. I'm afraid I
don't know much about salt and there are so many varieties out there!
