Some keep a sponge in the refugium, and once a week they'll
take that sponge and put it in the display, shaking it out
well. Odds are the pods wouldn't last long at all in that
application as they can't scurry into the rockwork fast
enough.
However, as Kim suggested, the pods will make their way into
your tank via the plumbing.
