I am not posting this from a computer, but a webtv unit. We just bought
a new computer and I would like to post on it so I can set up a nospam
addy. I realize that I can go through google, but can not hide in
there. Any help in getting the name of this news groups server would be
great.

From the computer that you posted this message with, if using outlook
express click on "Tools" in the menu bar then "accounts" then click on
the "News" tab that select the news server and click on properties. Then
click on the "Server" tab and you will see the name of the NNTP server.
By default your new computer using Outlook Express will set the port. In
Outlook Express on the new computer, click tools then accounts then
add-news and follow the wizard entering the NNTP server name when asked.
Who is your ISP? Mine is shaw and the news server is "shawnews" without
the qoutes.
