which is better Cycle or Stress Zyme?Aqua plus or Stress Coat?

You are mentioning bacteria starters and de-chlorinators. I have lots of
experience with Cycle and I've found it's somewhat effective at
establishing the first bacteria culture to consume the ammonia, but less
effective at helping to establish the bacteria which consume the NO2 into
NO3. Manufacturers are always revising their products, but I wouldn't
recommend Cycle if BioSpira or cross-seeding media was available.

Everyone's de-chlorinator dechlorinates water, so to make themselves more
distinct, they add stress coating ingredients and/or detoxify heavy
metals and/or replace electrolytes. You are probably better off buying
the most basic de-chlorinator and following good maintenance practices in
terms of filter cleaning, water changes and not overloading your tank.
More and better chemicals don't compensate for not following good
husbandry practices (and when good practices are followed, you're really
not interested in the BS chemicals they try to sell you). jmo

*cheers NetMax on* I can't imagine how adding any unnecessary chemicals
like Stress Coat or Aqua Plus to the water could possibly improve the
health of a fish or the water quality. BTW, Genesis is very basic for
chlorine only. It's pure sodium thiosulfate. Regular Amquel is my
personal choice for the simplest chloramine remover. I looked it up and
it's only one chemical as well.
