Mail order is quite reliable, depending on which method of shipping you
choose. I'd say order from England in advance so that your products are
either waiting for you at the hotel or wherever it is you're staying.

I probably used the wrong subject line for this. Whilst I'd LOVE to be
able to bring fish back, we're UK based and I'm not sure customs would
approve. We're looking to buy high quality food, test kits, odds and bobs
that we don't see here in the UK or which are much more expensive (test
kits being a case in point). The mail order site is great but as we're
only in each area (Manhattan in NY, B.Hills in LA and the strip in Vegas)
for 4 days each, how reliable is the mail service? I'd hate to buy a load
of stuff only for it to be delivered the day after we left
