Have you ever seen an outdoor museum?

Seriously, the sun is horrible for interiors and rubber. Also the car is
more exposed to damage from trees (branches, acorns etc), weather (hail,
ice), animals, vandals and thieves outside.

Plus it's much nicer to get in a nice cool car in the summer or a snow and
frost free car in the winter. Definitely worth it for that alone in my
opinion.
