A drive across Toronto and back
One lane of road blocked
"No Standing" does not apply:
His car is German.
In the street is fine --
Shift to "Park" and walk away;
This is Chinatown.
No left signals flash.
Guess intent; she's on her cel.
Woah! Turned right instead!
No bright amber flash;
Turn signals are for those who
Drive domestic cars.
He's a taxicab;
Urgent to get to the next
Red light before me.
Self-absorbed driver:
Oblivious to blinding
Glare from her high beams
He drives a tow truck--
You have to stop for red lights,
But on them he goes.
Daylight running lamps:
Not the same as nighttime beams.
Headlamps on at dusk!
Yellow light, then red
Six cars turn across traffic
Red means "no more wait"
