If I have a powerhead with an airline intake that blows bubbles out the
powerhead's stream, is that alright or should I raise my powerhead so it gets the surface turbulant? Is there a way around it so I don't need anything bubbling? I notice it gets the glass on my canopy salty really fast...I bought a spray bar for my fluval for something to do, but it doesn't fit right so I had to rig something up. I have a 33gal with a fluval 304, an aquaclean 402 powerhead, and an aquaclear mini (holding phosphate removing resin). This is my first crack and I'm one of those noobs that says "I hope this is how I should do it." So far, the tank's been up for about a month, I tossed in a small jar of fishfood the day I filled it up to help the cycle get going. I've got 3 little chromis in there now, poor buggers are swimmin around in serious nitrate/nitrite levels, I never checked the water before I put them in, I figured it would be fine. Anyhoo, I'm just looking for pointers from the more experienced to perhaps save me from making silly mistakes. This is a goofy page of my tank: http://www.nookleeus.ca/fish/ but it only works if my computer's turned on. I only turn it off when I sleep. Thank you in advance for anyone that replies. -John |
