Default Hello Everyone

It's that time of year again, when thoughts turn to ponds being unfrozen and
useable. Well, for me anyway w/a small one here near Boston.

It's been a while since I've posted but you guys/gals have always been a
wealth of info!

I'm thinking of expanding, I've got a shallow bird-pool going on right now,
about 4 feet long by 3 feet wide. It's only about 10" deep and from there
comes up to a shallow end where the birds bathe. I want to put in a
preformed liner, dig a hole, plop it in, be done BUT I want a shallow bird
bath end ... does such a thing exist in preform? I haven't found one, but
again, you guys/gals are the experts. It's still not going to be very big
or deep - it's in a small garden area. I guess I'm looking for a pre-form
w/a shallow end. :-)

I've got three small goldfish (they must have come on plant I bought last
year since I didn't put them there) and I'd like it to be a bit deeper for
them when I put them out, since they're so used to me now they'll be an easy
target for something to snack on, they'll probably come right to the surface
for Mr./Mrs Raccoon where last summer they took off at any sign of movement.
This was low maintenance last year, I've got no big filtration, just a
fountain w/a small filter attachment and I'd like to keep it that way. I'll
probably just have to buy a bigger fountain.

Oh yes, and I'll be putting in plenty of plants!

TIA,
LeeAnne
