Ammonia Level Test Results

My tank has been set up for 10 days and I have been logging the
progress of the test results. I'm on day 10 of a 55 gal tank. In the
begining I saw the test results on the rise from day 1 to day 6 and
for the last 4 days there has been no changes with my test results. I
belive they may have peeked but they dont drop.
I'm using Nitromax to speed up the bacteria process along with the
introduction of 4 small damsel fish I added on day 4. All fish are
healthy and eating

How long can one expect to see the same test results untill the test
results start droping?

My results
Salt 1.023
Temp 78
PH 8.5
Ammonia level is 3.0mg
Nitrite level is 1.6
Nitrate level is 50mg

I have no carbon filteration (yet)
I'm not using a Protein Skimmer (yet)

USING
2 ehiems 2017

1-completely full of Ehfisubstrat with 2 types of filter pads on top
(lots of real estate for bacteria growth)

2nd Filled with the media that came with the filter 1/2 full of
ehfisubstrat,Filter Mesh,and 2 types of filter pads.

Thanks for everyone answering my questions for the last 2 weeks, once
I get more educated I will be able to help other newbees with what I
have learned from my experiences
