Default Got a few more aquatic plants today......

Stopped by a few of the local nursery places and looked at their
plants, and wound up with what I call a deal without looking for one..
One place had a few plants left, and the clerk (owner) told me that if
I took em all he would give me a deal I cold not refuse, so I said
lets hear it. I got a Lotus, 4 water snowflakes, one corkscrew rush,
one umbrella palm rush, a big bag of frog bed of over 25 plants & 2
hardy lillies for $45.00. He threw in the two remaining fish for
free..a butterfly Koi yellow and creme in color about 4" long and a
nice shubunkin of about 4".

From there I went to the place that sells rocks and fill dirt, and
picked up 190 pounds of rocks to finish off the lagoon on our pond at
the price of 18 cents a pound..........

That is a deal. Lucky you! :-))) That lotus alone is worth at least
$35.00.

Congrats on the buy. What does that work out to per plant? Let's see 15x15
liner, 1200 gph pump ....... carry the six - divide by 33. Hot dog - just
$53.22 per plant. You are going to need some place to put them arent you?

No, not quie, plants are already in the pond and I have room for
quite a few more to be honest, I just have to wait until next year or
go mail order if I want any more this year as whats left at any of the
other suppliers in this area is what I already have lots of....water
clover and aquatic mint.
