What is the best product to adhere EPDM to a preformed pond?

We have used roofing cement for patches. The stick plus the flex have
worked well. In one case, we pulled the kiddie pool and replaced it entirely with EDPM with a board frame around it. That gave depth and strength. The bottom of the pool has a drain. There is a picture of the process on our website. We may need to repeat that. We could just lay liner in the kiddie pool. I suspect, however, that I will end up putting boards around in order to have the depth that I would like.
