Default Love at first sight

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to say thanks for such a good newsgroup, very friendly and
helpful

I bought my first two ryukins today. What is it about GF that makes us crazy
for them? My boyfriend took me to a big aquarium shop in the next town today
and I made my usual dash for the GF section, it was then I found him, our
eyes met through a busy tank of healthy ryukin, and I held up my finger (I
never tap the glass) and he swam straight up to me, I just had to take him
home!

I may be slightly unstable lol, but has anyone else ever seen a fish amongst
many that they couldn't leave behind? Am I completely mad, or is it usual
to love a fish as much as a cat or a dog? My boyfriend cares well for his
tropical fish ( he's kept them for about 15 years now) but he does regard
them as "just Fish".

I recommend anyone with depression to keep fish, when you're sad they nibble
your fingers and warm your heart. When u get insomnia, u can stare at them
for hours....which I have at the moment which is why I'm sitting here
babbling.

Who's your favourite GF then?

Tess

lol, I sleep in a different room but i leave the doors open so my cat can
sleep where she wants to. They do wake me up, if you read my posting "fish
humour". They tap the thermometer at night and its quite loud in the dead
of night.

We always have "kiss mummys fingers" at feeding times too lol
