Default puregold site

This morning I went to check something on the old PureGold site
http://puregold.aquaria.net/ and I find advertising. A quick call to him confirms
he has sold space on the site without my knowledge or consent. I have no idea how
long this has been going on. I am absolutely inflamed, ****ed and incensed about
this.

My ONLY site is now at http://www.mu.edu/~buxtoni/puregold/home.html
MY ONLY LIST IS NOW AT http://list.lovemyoldhome.com/puregold/

thank you. Ingrid

Who is your host? Is advertising part of your agreement?

If you are interested, I do some hosting on the side, and would be happy to
cut you a great rec.ponds deal on some hosting.

Who sold advertising space on your site?

========================
It's hard to find free webspace these days that doesn't have banners or
other annoying ads. The money has to come from somewhere.

Some ISPs allow webspace, some don't. Those that do don't use them as
places to advertise.

OH! I didn't realize it was free space. That makes sense.

$14.99/year will get hosting at
http://www.dayanahost.com/personal_plans.cfm.
I have my site hosted there and there has been no problems at all.
They did raise the annual price from $4.95 to $14.99 however I think
that is still very reasonable.
