What to put in a 29g tank?

Hi, I have a 29g tank, in it I already have a 6 inch snakskin gourami
(very agressive), a 6 inch pleco and 4 or 5 cory cats. Does anyone have
any suggestions as to what cichlids might go into the tank well? The
tank has also been fully cycled for almost two years.

Put some bolivian rams or small apistos...the are very nice small, peaceful
cichlids. They tend to get a little aggressive when spawning but nothing
other fish could not take. I have some bolivian rams and they are great.

I have a 30 gallon tank, With a Rock pile in one corner going to the water
line, some bog wood. and assorted plants. I started with, 6 young Kribs, 3
Bolivian Rams, 2Cory cats, one Chinese Algae Eater, some Neons and White
Clouds, for dither fish. As the Cribs grew, one pair of them started nipping
and chasing others to the other end of the tank.They set up nesting in the
Rock pile and started producing babies. Some of their tank mates ended up
getting beat up a bit. So as I noticed the beginnings of ragged fins, I'd
find another tank or home for the losers. I don't like to see Critters
suffering... Anyways a year later my plain little pet store Kribenzies, Have
matured into a georgeous mating pair, some of the colors they show in their
parental and breeding roles, as well as for expression of mood are
fantastic. They are sharing the same tank now with the 2 corys, and a dozen
Cardinals, plus the Chinese Algae Eater... Never could catch the little
bugger...lol. The Kribs, are very attentive parents, and they tolerate the
fry from previous matings, up to a certain size. They take care of their
babies, until they are to big of a mouth full, for the Cardinals. By that
point after predation etc. out of 15 or so fry there will be 2 to 5 babies
left to mature. Once mom and dad get back on the nest, the kids are chased
away, so a grow out tank is nessicary. At this point they'll be a bout an
inch long. I'm able to sell the babies at one third of retail to my local
pet store.
So, I started with A lot in the tank, actually way too much. I watched
it, and found homes for everyone who didn't fit, Have three new tanks,...and
so on ...lol.

I really like the balance in the tank right now, and the way it has
matured,in one year. Many of the plants have grown nicely, theres enough
Algae and java moss for the babies to feed amongst and the kribs are at the
top of the totem pole in the tank, and their attitude and confidence shows.
They will eat out of your hand, and It's a hoot watching them take their new
babies for a stroll around the tank. :-)
