Default Sodium Thiosulfate - good source

Can anyone recommend a good reliable source for Sodium Thiosulfate? I will
not put my Charge Card info online so there must be a phone number I can
call. Thanks ;-)

to LFS, and now your looking for this..............If you were into
this as big as you claim you are you would know where the best source
of this is at..........Sorry you do not have sufficient credit for a
credit card.......Even my one dog has a credit card............

Any good photography store will have a source.. it is a common photo
chemical, used for home developing. Kodak used to sell 16 oz brown
glass jars for something like 7 bucks ..(I once went through quite a
lot of the stuff, smaller containers were also available.) It is often
refered to a Hypo.
As a caution... Photo FIXER is not Sodium Thiosulfate.. it contains
Sodium Thiosulfate... some old guys use the term interchaingably (sp).

Thanks! I Googled it and found a place I can call that has it for $17.70
per 10 pound pail. I think we'll call and order it from them. That should
last me a lifetime. I usually try and order from a place someone has had
some experience with.

Chances are it will last your entire town your life time!

Save your silica gel desicant and dump it in the tub.... and keep the
tub in a dry location..

I'm sure it will. :-D However the other places had something like 4 lbs
for $15.00 - may as well get the 10 lbs for $17.00. I can always share it
with other ponders. It'll be kept in my air-conditioned house. It's so
humid here we keep the fishfood inside as well. You can't leave anything
outside here.

I will not put my Charge Card info online...

Your charge card info is far safer online than it is in the hands of the
server at the local bar and grill.

You haven't heard about the hackers who get that information on a rather
regular basis? I would rather take a few minutes and make a phone call.

I had forged checks written when my checking account and drivers license
number were taken from a check written at my local Best Buy. My
ex-husband had fradulent charges appear on his credit card after
telephoning a legitimate business with his credit card number. You pays
your money and takes your chances, online or not...

This is so very true. That's why I try and pay cash for everything I
purchase except for the big ticket items.

I just don't feel comfortable giving my card # to a place online I've never
done business with before. I hear so much about Internet rip-offs I'm a bit
paranoid.
