Drinking RO or RO/DI is fine.Pure [0ppm] water for fish is good but for
human comsumption is fine too. But you should consider intake some mineral
to be healthy. It the same as breathing pure oxygen for long term without
any other particale or substance that normally breathe in.Beside, it
tasteless. Your body require some mineral to be healthy. IMHO - Filter out
most of the bad and those little that is left-over will take care by your
immune system. You do not want to stress out your immune system too much.
Having some nutrient to your body is good. Do not take "Pure" as literally
but low unwanted nutrient as possible.

For fish with "Pure" water is good since you will be removing all or close
to all nutrient so you can mix certain nutrient like salt mix or whatever
other stuff to your tank. So end result, water will not be pure long.
