Default Breeding traps

I just put my very fat black molly in the breeding trap since the male
was giving her too much attention and what do you know she starts
giving birth like 2 mins later! i didn't have the baby divider in so
she quickly ate them all so i slipped the divider in since there were
no babies to watch out for but the damn babies kept swimming to the top
section and getting eaten!!! There is only 1 left!! And one actally
managed to get out some how and survived for longer than another of the
others in the tank w/ all the other fish. I can't see it anymore but
It *could* be still alive.

I never knew breeding traps were so crappy? Or is it coz i bought a
really really cheap one - I only got it to keep fish from getting
bullied.
