malachite green ich

I am out of "ich" med and was reading how to treat ich with salt and high
temp, however in all the pages I read I noticed malachite green treats ich,
and fungus, I have fungus med with the ingredient being MG, but my bottle
has the dose for fungus on it being that is what its for, no dosing info for
ich treatment, the fungus direction said dose twice 48 hours apart which
would. not work for ich, any idea what the right dose would be for ich in a
40 gl tank, or even per gallon and I can figure it out, maybe someone has
ich med at home with MG as the main ingredient. being its a holiday stores
are closed and I noticed the ich yesterday but was on the way out the door
for the funeral, so figured I would deal with it today, so I don't want to
wait till I am able to get to the fishs store, need be I guess I could go to
the super market and they may have it, but if the malachite green will work
it would be a little easier.

how high of a temp can female bettas deal with, i have it on 81 now but i
think as far as heat killing ich it has to be at least 85-89 right? I have
an extra air hose going
