AIEEEEEEARRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGH!
I guess I just learned my lesson about keeping my mag scraper up in the corner of my tank. Is there anyway to remove scratches from the inside of a tank while there is water in it or is it a drain (and completely empty) so you can buff the scratches out proposition. -K PS. I didn't yell at my 6 year old. |

There's a product used in aviation to remove scratches from acrylic windshields called "MicroMesh." It contains several different grades of abrasive cloth. The usual use is to polish with a medium grit or coarser until the scratches are out and then work through the finer grits until you're really just polishing the acrylic. It's rather labor-intensive. Cindy Glass can scratch too, if you get sand in between the magnet and the glass. Try the micromesh for the acrylic. Wayne Sallee Wayne's Pets |
