Horrible

This is horrible. I can't continue to be a member of this group. I
don't know how the people can post profanity and just stupid, angry
stuff. Isn't this moderated? Don't all posts to this group have to go
through a person who either releases the posts or blocks them? I guess
I don't understand Google Groups. Anyway, I can't keep coming from
work to relax and read about my salt water aquarium hobby and instead
read junk from these mentally ill people. Thank you for what it once
was.

nope. it's not moderated. welcome to AbUsenet. I'd suggest
www.reefcentral.com in the meantime until the children get bored.

Yeah it sucks, but I believe most of us are still here.
If you use a news reader or Outlook express such as myself
go to tools, block sender and all that junk will be filtered out.

It's unfortunate that it's happened but just start using your filter / kill
file.
I've seen worse.

Need help in creating a KILL file? It'll weed out all the posters you
put in.

Come back here in a few weeks and it will probably be back to normal.

Billy said something about Google Groups. Can one set up kill files there?

Also. I *think* I'm doing pretty well with my kill files, but I'd appreciate any
tips you might have to offer. Please send them email, 'cause some of the crazies
might figure out workarounds if you post them.

Earthlink kicked his ass off because he was trying to send johns to some
