Default Breeding Red Forest Jewels

Hi All,
I was given 1 male and 2 female Red forest jewel's a couple of weeks ago.
I mainly keep planted tanks, but I decided to keep these fish as a trial and
threw them in a 2ft tank with a basic undergravel filter.

It seems that the Jewel's decided that the tank conditions are perfect and
have cleared a patch of UGF totally of any gravel, and laid about 100 eggs.

I've really taken to these fish and I'd like to build up a good sized colony
for a larger Cichlid tank.

The eggs are now 2 days old..............So where to from here?

Does anyone have any experience breeding these fish and looking after the
fry?

What can I expect?

Kerry

I'd love to see some, as I've loved whatever jewels I get to see here, nice
colors...

eeeeww... UGF... Good luck with them, as you'll probably lose the eggs,
they'll probably fall below the UGF plates, next time take the plates out...

Can't help with the jewels, although, they should be good parents, and the
odd fish out may need a new home... jewels aren't friendly fish when
spawning....
