Default Will a Severum and Giant Gourami get along ?

I have a giant gourami (scientific name:Osphronemus gorami) in my 55
gallon tank which has reached a size of 9 inches and continues to
grow. He's already consumed 12 of my neon tetras and is clearly the
"big bully" of the block.

I've always wanted a cichlid addition to my tank and so I'm
considering a gold or green Severum. Will the Severum and Giant
Gourami get along ?

Any feedback anyone can provide will be helpful.

Thanks.

Jim.
