Default Goldfish Proof Plants

I only use anacharis and my fish do nibble on it but not enough to
completely destroy it. I do like that they are getting their leafy greens
from the live plants and I occasionally do throw in some chopped pieces of
(thawed, once frozen) spinach to add to the leafy greens. They need their
vitamins too ya know. Kim From Pittsburgh

Anyone had any success with live plants?
My fish have torn apart my Cabomba, and a few others i tried.
Which plant is the hardiest?

Kim,

You are looking for a very narron group of plants that Goldfish don't
bother. Java Fern, Java Moss, and some of the Cryptas they leave alone.

Well i tried a Java Fern in a 20gal with three 2" Comets. They left it alone
for a few days
and then ripped it apart on the 5th and 6th day.

anubia and java fern are fine. Kois would still try to eat them. I have to
cut plants back because of tremendous growth.
