Pea Soup and I'm not talking about food.

Okay.. my first pond and now the weather hasw warmed up and I a pea soup
pond.

Will a filter help with this and can I build one myself?

Its a 500 gal pond. 3ft at its deepest point with a 1000gph water feature.
