Lest we all get too excited for naught, the link below refers to Blaster,
not SWEN.

However, I think we can all be greatful that SWEN mail seems to be slowing
down to the point of being measured in emails per day rather than per
*minute* (no, that was not a typo).

Blaster was destructive, SWEN is annoying.
personally, I spent 5+ hrs. formatting/reloading
w/ blaster

but in 5-6 weeks and they got them, SWEN wont be far behind
diff. is destructive = jail time, non-destructive = fines

yup, now I only get 10-20 a day from about 200 the 1st day.

Ken, with any luck the definition of "non-destructive" may be rethought by
the "legal eagles" -- after all, the time & effort of dealing with the
bogus emails should be worth something?

Ken,

You are an avid poster on rec.ponds, so you might recognize me as BV or
BenignVanilla.

I am working on a free searchable database driven web site called
IHeartMyPond.com. The site is in BETA mode now, but available for users to
begin searching, http://www.iheartmypond.com. I am hoping to offset the
costs of maintaining the site, using advertising, affiliate programs, etc.,
as I am NOT going to charge for the content. I want the site to be that
place everyone goes to when they think ponds, sometimes to get an answere,
and other times to jump to the place that has the answer. Not charging for
the content is an important factor in this model, so advertising is my only
hope.

We are advertising on Google right now, and we have had well over 7000
impressions of our ad in the first week of the campaign. Our name is getting
out there.

Your reputation precedes you on rec.ponds, so I was hoping to introduce you
to our site. If you are interested in advertising, no reasonable offer will
be refused. We have banners space on the site, as well as a product rotator
that shows/links to products on other sites. All advertising is related to
ponding. Do you think you would be interested in some ad space? Donating a
product or two for a giveaway? Something else?

sorry about the divorce. been there, done that. seems to me that if she
didn't help you build up your business or work there, or entertain for you
or make you relaxed so you could do better work, or keep your home nice then
she doesn't deserve 1/2 your business.

i went through a divorce and i owned everything before the marriage
(household goods and a car which we traded in for a van). he was a bum. the
only thing we owned of any value was the van and he got that, leaving me
afoot. then his kid wrecked it. too d**n bad.

mad

hmm, she did none of the above lol

It doesnt help me that her mom is a higher up
in DCYF and knows all the judges!

BUT I filed a complaint against him on those
grounds AND the fact that my dumb wife bragged
to the wrong people before court who that it
was fixed!
