Newbie help please

I've just bought a 4ft secondhand tank and would like advice on how to clean
it and make it safe for my fish.

mild bleach solution, rinse really well until you cant smell anything, use dechlor
and then sit it out in the sun for a day. refill, run water a day. Ingrid
