Thanks everyone for answering my questions i posted under the subject
22 gallon possibilities, i actually found out the tank is 29 gallons, so i guess thats better. One more question, what kind of fish and how many can i put in the tank. I wanted a couple of clowns and maybe a hermit crab, anyone have any other fish they can recommend? Thanks |

I have one clown and a firefish in my 30-gallon reef tank. Of course, the
fewer fish the better; but I've read that you can put 6-8 small fish. Other recommended small reef fish species were the royal gramma, the pajama cardinal and the six line wrasse. Stay away from tangs and pygmy angels. They are two big for small reef tanks. You should probaly have more than one hermit. I've read up to 15 to help keep a mini-reef free of algae. You should also add some shrimp and snails. Good luck. Maddie "Jack" wrote in message om... I've got 2 clowns and a damsel in my 29 gallon tank. I've also got several
flame scallops, anemone and several feather dusters. For clean-up I have several small snails, sand sifting star fish, peppermint shrimp and several crabs. Working on getting some corals next. I too wandered how many fish are recommended for a 29 gallon tank. Susan ![]() "maddie" wrote in message news ![]() I have one clown and a firefish in my 30-gallon reef tank.
