According to the specs on the fan your adapter does not have enough current to run even one of the fans. You need an adapter that is 12vdc and 1.2 amps to run both fans. Now this seems to be a very high current draw for a fan though. If the 300ma adapter is driving one fan ok it should be fine but I would not try pushing it to 2 fans. This would not meet the specs of the fan and there could be a risk of failure to the adapter but I really do not believe the fan could be drawing .6 amps unless it is a very powerfull fan. Jose would know for sure, but I *believe* you can run several off that power
supply. The way I understand it, you've got 12v DC power to these fans, which need .6 amps each. What a minute, your power supply provides 300mA. I think that isn't enough even for one. Jose? I think that isn't enough even for one. nope its not, its only 1/2 the current required to run 1 fan, though current limiting DC fans will not harm the fan, its just not efficient. a cut in 1/2 MIGHT even cause starting problems, its also going to push the electronics in the converter which isnt good for the converter. Use an old PC power supply. Fan cooled and more than enough amperage.
