Kathy keeping the sanity...well done. Life has been in the way of my living

Kathy, I don't suppose you'd consider adding a little blurb about making
sure any replies to a message are sent to the "right" newsgroup, would you?

I don't know if it'd help any, but I'm not certain it wouldn't hurt...

Probably depends on how or where they are reading.
Stuff posted to rec.ponds and answered would just go
to rec.ponds. It is when folks reply to the troll stuff
that the cross posting seems to happen. Or am I
wrong here?

I'd almost think about having a general post on trolls
but think that would probably attract more attention
than it would help. At least to me. But if someone else
wants to risk it it would probably be a good idea.

Okay, I'm revising my answer here.
Just by posting at the bottom of the thread
where a troll had posted the dang post got
cross posted. I removed any that went thru
google.
I think this is something that requires more
sophistication than I have.
Does someone want to take on a daily - how to
deal with trolls post?
One rec.ponder had a good suggestion for my
post, as in start it with the letter 'a' as some
news readers list alphabetically. 'welcome' to
rec.ponds goes straight to the bottom, give or
take few letters ;-)

k :-)
